Having HBO in my college dorm freshman year got me on this and Oz. For some reason they took it away soph year and I never caught up with it until about 3 years ago. Would see bits and pieces and could still kinda follow along but completely missed the boat during its original run besides seasons 1 and ther final season.

I always felt like Oz ushered into TV a lot of what The Sopraos later got credit for but Sopranos was both a better show and got more critical acclaim and viewership.
I always wanted to check out OZ is it worth watching

Early 00s HBO was the best era of television.

Sopranos was a great show but I always thought the Wire and Deadwood were better shows.

With this one show, we had the beginning of the golden era of TV, the birth of the premium drama (no offense to OZ :hubie:), the anti-hero/villain as the protagonist on TV, and one of the GOAT Television shows of all time :wow:

I know we got several threads on The Sopranos already but 20 years brehs :wow:

The wire was better than the Sapranos
