Nobody can do it like Stone Cold aka GOAT.:wow:

That promo changed the face of pro-wrestling and nothing has surpassed it yet. :banderas:

It basically sets Rock and Austin apart.

Austin will always be more important when its all said and done

i honestly think the only promos even close in terms of magnitude imo are "hard times" and "the pipebomb." wrestling promotion werent as nationally visible in dusty's time and punk didn't have the short, succinct quotables (also wrestling was long beyond its peak by then). i'm sure someone can point to a signature flair or rock promo that's dope but i think if i had to show a non fan how aweome wrestling promos can be, this is the one. solidified his persona, birthed two legendary catchphrases, buried a legend, made himself a main event draw, and seemed totally believable as a unhinged fighter riding a post-victory high. this is the 6-star-tokyo-dome-match of wrasslin shyt talk.

wrestling was indeed nationally visible.

people who didnt even like wrestling, knew about dusty rhodes and them.

what vince did is sometimes overstated. wrestling wasnt some underground mosh-pit before vince inherited the wwf.
