Could've gone to the store. Picked up a package of wings. Bought some BBQ sauce. And created your own for maybe half the cost (assuming you already had flour/corn starch)

Just as a test I placed a 10 piece boneless meal, no sauce from Buffalo wild wings in Seattle to my cart. They added a new fee too...lets see the total

17.99 subtotal
11.99 Delivery
13.09 taxes and other fees
-this includes 4.15 'service fee'; $5.00 local operating fee ('this fee helps offset the increased cost of regulations imposed on third-party delivery apps'); and $3.94 taxes

$42.37 for ten glorified chicken nuggets :mjlol:

$12 delivery? Are they coming from Canada? :heh:

Sorry you had to go through that OP. As previously mentioned, sign up for a free trial before you order next time. I use Uber somewhat frequently so I have UberOne but even then I only order food when they slide me a 40-50% off promo. If I'm feeling froggy, I try to order from restaurants that offer a Buy1, Get 1 Free promo. For example, the Bed-Stuy Fish Fry and Footprints near my crib usually have these promos. I can order the $28 oxtail dinner and have it delivered to the crib for about $26, including all fees and tip. Considering a large oxtail dinner is $26 in-store, it's a come-up when I get 2 for 1.

I occasionally order food for my elderly mother who lives out of state. UberEats is ridiculous with it's prices. Ordered a fried fish dinner from a local Detroit place (Fish Station) and it was $75. If I had a family member pick up the food, I can order a 26oz Steak dinner from Long Horn for $40. No the answer isn't paying a $10/month subscription to UberOne or DashPass.

Low-key that credit card perk is wild, free Uber One with 10% back on all Uber Purchases. Plus 6% back in Uber Cash on Uber Rides. Anyone that uses Uber/UberEATS often should look into grabbing the card
