$20 uber eats order is $39 after fees and tip

I was helping out at another office for our company last year. They have a private parking lot and are surrounded by eateries. At least half of the people working there used Uber eats/door dash on a regular basis. And for shyt like KFC and McDonald’s.

I know we shouldn’t pocket watch, but I can’t imagine wasting money in that fashion.

Yeah, that’s how it goes, that’s why I only go for the deals or whenever I manage to grab a 1 or 3 month free ubereats+ membership, then you get a lot of discounts in general.

It would only make sense if you’re ordering out for a large amount of people frequently or for business purposes to have an UberEats member on the regular.

Either that or just using the app to order the food then picking it up yourself.

Uber One has no delivery fees with places close to you

I almost always spend $20 though no matter the place

And you can make a custom tip

NYC has a minimum wage now of about $18 for delivery apps but only for active time. (Time between going to pick up, and delivering) i dont tip anymore especially when uber charges an extra $2 for that
