Yeah, I read this yesterday. I have to think this case is a disaster at a jury trial in wherever that little city is. Racial violence, yes, and also, overlooked is gun control, in my opinion. What do George Zimmerman and these two have in common? Two civilians, acting as some kind of de facto John Wayne sheriff, who are most importantly ARMED. Without guns, this ends up as a fight, or chase, but not death. I don't want under educated hicks, or overprivileged Suburanites who eat at Applebee's carrying firearms, like a militia, it's outrageous.

This is some dog shyt. Its a shame we should have to arm ourselves when going for a walk, a jog, a bike ride, to take our kids to the park, to go grocery shopping, to get gas, etc. But this is why we need to stay armed.
In some cases we are damned if we do, damned if we dont. If Ahmaud wouldve been carrying and shot and killed them we can bet he would be going to court. White people, even Mexicans think it's ok to pull up to random black people in trucks and demand our attention or cooperation. It's better to start defending ourselves rather that continually being the victim. At least in court or worse case in jail, our story can be told from our mouths and not the mouths of our friends and loved ones and particularly the ones who are out to eradicate us anyway.
