but one of them being a Snipe and the other working at a Seabee base leads me to believe they weren't that in the know....and thought they had more valuable stuff than they were attempting to sell.

PAC fleet runs outta Daygo but the one guy was busted in Ventura county which is home to port hueneme which is the Seabees (construction battalions) . These guys are dumb ,just because you have a clearance doesn't mean you can access anything, you still have to have a need to know to get the info. I had a clearance cuz I needed to know ships movement for mail routing instructions but I'm sure if I'm looking at propulsion diagrams I'd be getting captains mast and looking at 20 in Leavenworth lol

He was stationed near/in Oxnard right?

But im curious why they brought this case in San Diego instead of somewhere in Ventura County/LA. Whats the connection?

Yeah Ventura is right there in Oxnard. I assume since he's a squid, San Diego has all their west coast jag officers around the SD area .. Seabees are a really small footprint in the navy. You never see them on ships and at the big bases like san Diego or Norfolk. I did 11 years and only met 2 Seabees and one of them was from my neighborhood and one was a filipina I met on Myspace lol

Just keep running negative news about asians 24/7. It doesn’t matter which stories. People will eventually form a negative association with asians regardless of what is said about them
