dudley kcp rondo what can they net us?..maybe a borderline starter? .
.cant really belive melo. jr smith. Crawford still out there.
Melo, JR, and Crawford? Those would be horrid pickups for the Lakers.
Dudley KCP Rondo aren't good trade bait because they all fit very specific roles on a title-chasing team. Rondo is the only player on the team besides LeBron who has run an offense in the playoffs, he's there for insurance if the young guys don't pan out. KCP is the backup 3-and-D. And Dudley is the vet floor spacer to provide depth at forward. The Lakers need those guys more than anyone else does, especially because Dudley and Rondo are getting old so no one looking to them for the future. If they ain't doing their job for the Lakers then no one else gonna want them.
The only way I see the Lakers making a trade is if Cook or Caruso are playing well but aren't fitting into the roster/lineup well, someone might want one of them cause they're both young and cheap. Package them with KCP for salary purposes and perhaps you could get a 3-and-D forward or a veteran point who is disgruntled on his current team.
