Weird thing I just noticed about B.I.'s increased production this year.

'18/'19 two-pointers: 6.4-12.2 (52.1%)
'19/'20 two-pointers: 6.7-12.6 (52.8%)

'18/'19 three-pointers: 0.6-1.8 (33.0%)
'19/'20 three-pointers: 2.3-5.5 (41.8%)

'18/'19 free throws: 3.8-5.6 (67.5%)
'19/'20 free throws: 4.7-5.6 (83.9%)



He's not taking or making any more 2pts than he was last year, and he's not getting to the line more either. His increased scoring is almost solely due to taking and making WAY more threes and then having a huge leap in his free throw %.

the 3 ball was what he needed last year but he kept driving to the basket...or stand around instead of running the floor,...but i blame it more on him playing out of position.

he looks more legit now.. happy for him.. might be a star in the making.

Those are pretty incredible gains in one offseason, especially moving to the number 1 option. Hopefully he can keep it up

Yeah, I'm assuming he gotta regress at some point cause that too much to expect in one year. He's gotta finish below 40 and 80 you would think. Unless there was something about LA that was was just interfering too much mentally the last three years.

A few years ago he changed his shot on threes, jumping less and thus getting a more consistent shot. It's made him look more nonchalant when he does it because it's a shot with fewer moving parts. His heat checks didn't used to look like that.

That looking at the ball shyt is aids cuz its literally nothing you can do, if you try to close out he'll get a foul or you get dieng'd at the rim.

hes lulling defenders to sleep. to me your best option as a big is to do something to try and disrupt his rhythm like a quick pressure and back away while hoping he hasnt immediately blown past you because as is youre not doing anything as a defender to make him adjust to you. obviously easier said than done.

My favorite is when he does his trash behind the back dribble, which he can't do with out looking down at the ball. Creates no space, but he launches that shyt anyway
