Where were you 10 years ago in life when the Lakers last won a championship? Obviously not too detailed, but what was life like for you.

Doin dumb shyt I wasn’t supposed to

2010 was the most stress I ever felt for a Finals. I ain’t scared of shyt in the playoffs after that shyt. We was really on the razors edge and you could see both teams were killing each other. Kobe gave his all that series, so much so that he really became “old” after that series. The shyt aged the major superstars by an extra two years the way they were battling. But that’ll always be the sweetest one, we fr went to war for the whole GOAT franchise legacy on that one. And I’m still salty about 08. fukk it, 04 too.

It’s crazy tho, Dr Buss was one thing cuz he was much older but even then he just as easily could still be here. As could Chick Hearn which was a shock earlier in the decade. Kobe and Gigi is totally different. All those shots of Kobe with Gigi in his arms I remember the shyt like it was yesterday. After that title I thought Kobe might finally get 6 and beat LeBron at the same time.

None of us ever realized that 2010 was the end of the road. That’s what made the fall so painful, we never saw it coming. At least I didn’t.

I went to a Nets/hawks game in December for cheap and Kobe and Gigi were there. Would have never thought that was last time I’d see them alive
