I've been defending Kuzma all year but he had awful body language the last two games.

Hopefully now he sees what hard work achieves he continues to work on his game as the main issue is he's not a spot up shooter which is an awful mix when your playing with AD & LeBron .


His defense made a huge leap this year (considering he didn't play any when he started) but he's making inexperienced mistakes on D which I believe can be corrected (he's hustling but not in the right way which causes ticky tack fouls)

For some reason he gets zero respect from the refs on either end of the floor. He definitely has to get in the gym and add some size to his frame. That and spot up shooting needs to be his focus in the off-season.

By far the two biggest needs for the Lakers in the offseason are a reliable shooter and a solid wing defender. Of course getting both in the same player is ideal but unlikely they'll be able to land that kind of talent. They should be able to fill one need with the MLE and the other with a Green/Kuz/THT-type deal.
