Did you forget about him killing Lord Rickard Karsark of Karhold's (1 of The Stark's bannermen from the North) sons? Did you forget he killed his own cousin just to escape from his prison?

Ned Stark was the Lord of House Stark of Winterfell. 1 of most prestigious, noble, & oldest families in the 7 Kingdoms & rulers of The North. He was also Warden of the North and The Hand of the King.That really doesn't make-up for all that he's done.
