The pace is slower and seems to be more filler in some episodes, still dope tho
Thats my gripe brah a show is suppose to raise the bar each season but GoT iseems like its proving to be a casualty of its on sucess.Cuz non of the following seasons have matched the 1st

My only complaint is how long they've been talking about war and nobody has arrived at King's Landing yet

:youngsabo: The titles of each book seems to correspond with the overall theme of that particular book/TV season adaption. Season 1 is an adaption of Book 1 (Book 1 is titled: "A Game of Thrones"), Season 2 is an adaption of Book 2 (Book 2 is titled: "A Clash of Kings").

Season 3 & the upcoming Season 4 are adaptions of Book 3. Book 3 is called "A Storm of Swords". If you're waiting for Jon Snow to face some real conflict you should be looking forward to Season 3 & ESPECIALLY the upcoming Season 4.

:wtf: so you expected from there each story arc(which is about 3-4 more than season 1) to build the fukk up in 10 episodes?:heh:
:dwillhuh: what I didnt expect was for a show with a short order of episodes a season to have 4-5 episodes with an air of filler :ld:

I aint gonna argue whether your point is valid or not because that is your own opinion, but realize that the entire story is already laid out and the show is converting that story to television format. It isn't going to follow standard television storytelling techniques. What you call filler is probably foreshadowing/political meandering/plot setup/background/etc. that is more fleshed out in its original form and limited by what is able to be adapted to the screen. So it may not seem interesting to you in one form (the television show) but was probably much more interesting in another (the novel).

If you are still watching the show, you should be plenty pleased with the upcoming season 4. It will likely up the bar to the standard you are seeking, and if it doesn't well then this show just probably isn't for you.

Did you even read my post? I didnt call you a hater or ask for blind loyalty. I didnt even argue with your opinion. Its like you just had tunnel vision and read the last sentence and got angry. Chill out. Context is key.
