Damn, anyone buying into this is stupid as fukk. First off, anyone who knows anything about the Makaveli bootlegs would know that there are/were literally bootlegs, of bootlegs, of bootlegs. You can download one Makaveli 2 from the net, download another Makaveli 2 and it have completely different tracks on it because it was just that, a bootleg. The only ones I even deem official are the first ones that were popping up at the local flea mall back in 1998 done by DJ E-A-Ski and the Eastside Express which were only a FEW (like Makaveli 2-5). People were bootlegging shyt and adding actual Pac tracks with tracks from people like Krazy who doesn't even fukking sound like Pac, unless you're a simple ass casual fan of Pac. Secondly, anyone who has actually heard the Realest SHOULD be able to tell you that not only does he not sound like Pac, flow, delivery, lyrics wise, it's not even a fukking comparison. You people are so desperate to hate this dude, that you come up with this bullshyt.

'nikkaz talk alot of shyt, but that's after I'm gone, cuz they fear me in a physical form'

This has been speculation for years, but it is nothing more than a myth. The only song Tha Realest appeared on is the "Life Goes On" clean version in 1998. Actually, he also laid down some vocals on the "Unconditional Love" video too. But nothing else too important. Maybe some more clean vocals here and there, but that's speculation again and there is proof supporting it. So besides what I've just mentioned, Tha Realest appears on ZERO 2Pac songs. It's that simple.

If you can't distinguish the difference between them...well, that's your problem then..

re: Johnny J not being involved with Makaveli, it's simple again really. 2Pac wanted to go in a different direction with the project and was looking for a new sound, thus experimenting with new and different producers. In fact, "When Thugz Cry" was actually produced by JJ and was earmarked for the project at one time or another, so technically you could he was involved.

JJ was also distancing himself from Death Row due to the negative environment during this time. So it was basically because they were going in separate directions at the time.

However, I'm confident that he managed to get his hands on some of 2Pac's unused lyrics/songs and took ideas from them and implemented them in his own songs.

In fact, "When Thugz Cry" was produced by JJ and was earmarked for the project at one time or another, however that song was completed before the Makaveli sessions and then revisited for the project. JJ was also distancing himself from Death Row due to the negative environment. So it was basically because they were going in separate directions at the time.

I didn't want to bump this thread btw.

Tupac

Here is the original

Yep, this version is from the archive with the original recording date, according to someone who has access to it. Tha Realest is NOT on it.

They just removed 2Pacs vocals from the first verse for some treason. You can hear the original demo mix with 2Pac's full verse + the hook and an unknown singer called 6.9 doing the background vocals throughout the entire track.
full

play any pac album after all eyez on me for a trained ear and you'll find out something very startling :sas2:
