But there were much worse shows out there. I think it catered to men more than anything which is why it was on so long.

Everything was about sex or at least underlying sexual jokes with 2 white girls that were easy to look at.

I probably watched one episode BUT if I remember correctly, that one was actually hilarious.

I think it was the episode about the young boy at the barmistpha or something...


Anyway, CBS just cancelled the show, it can always be picked up by another network or online service

I can diss the show because it's 2 annoying cacs telling corny jokes.

Nothing to do with being broke or not. There are a lot of wack shows on tv and by the trailer and by commercials alone it was one of the wackiest. This thread agrees the show was garbage according to comments by people who actually watched

Nobody here said they really watched the show but me, tho.
They assumed or watched a clip.
Also the show dealt with people being out of touch from a number of realms and how it correlates with the beaugoise spectrum of NYC as an outsider.
Or someone who lost status as an insider and now is on the outs.

Not to mention it showed the failure and tribulations of being an entrepreneur. When everyone tries to make it like being an entrepreneur is the sacred promise land where no worries or issues or crisis arise.
Whereas this show dealt with the real tribulations of being poor and having a job in that era.
It dealt with getting over yourself because if you upbringing and now having to be humbled.
All because you are facing homelessness and extreme poverty.
or are facing both right in your face.

Maybe it is to many silver spoon based guys here. Or maybe they are sheltered and grew up with everything being black. Maybe they grew up post LaVerne and Shirley, I dunno.
Yet two broke girls was a good show and I enjoy it.

6 years for a show I barely paid attention to or thought people barely paid attention to is a long time.

It was pretty successful show for Dennings. The other chick I barely knew her name in the show lol

He dad was like the ponzi scheme story.
She was broke and so broke they had a money counter to showcase how broke they were.
Max and co never had no bread till at least season three or four.
On top of numerous failures to come up bh doing the plan the right way or getting it how you live.
It is the only show that shows the struggle and has hilarious banter and insults.

How anyone can diss this show and never saw it is beyond me.

Show was imo, better than LaVerne and Shirley and was more in-depth to the struggles in this recession we currently live in where nuffin really works.
Hence why Carolina Channing pops was the ponzi scheme madoof guy.
that is the main premise of the show.

I guess nikkaz is rich now, and can not relate.
In an era with no affirmative action. No profit in the streets plus the streets are oversaturated and politicized to a point of no future profits. Racism spiraling out of control because of no affirmative action.

I just do not see how there is no relation.
Also in an era where there are really No great sitcoms.
or they go to far into the gray area perspective. This show was one of the very few that were grounded and dealt with what people really were going through by showcasing it via comedy.

The show was a great show, and I enjoy it. period.

Glad it is in syndication too.
Especially in an era where comedy sitcoms are few and far between. When I came up on the situational sitcom and still like to view them if they are done well. Two broke girls was done well and a great watch either on premiere or a binge watch.

The movie "Trading Places" had every element of struggle you mentioned and was relatable as a black man.

I'm sure they weren't living in project housing. They probably had no children/responsibilities. They were probably 'broke' living on the upper or lower east side of manhattan...or Brooklyn/ Astoria at worst

If they were any other race of woman besides a systematically privileged, young, thin and semi attractive white woman then they would have to more than likely come up off that p*ssy 1 way or another, or go to school and really grind.
