I agree but I think he couldn't keep up
Maybe he figured longevity would benefit moving up in weight. He has the heart but he's bellator status at best at this point in his career

Overeem surprised me. I wanted to bet on him all week and he usually comes prepared but physically he looked horrible at the weigh ins. Fat and confused looking. Not to mention the size Volkov had on him. Changed my mind and just bet fight doesn’t go the distance.

and Manel disappointed but that’s a lot of time off (not his fault) to be fighting a guy with that much octagon time.
