Thurman got an unusually long reach with his straight right.

If you an opponents trainer you would be made not to train to slip it for the free counter should he miss.

Nice punch though.

What makes you say that

His heart and grit is visibly gone honestly it’s been gone...he went life and death with Danny Garcia and Porter..which is ok to some people but the way he was hyped that a little disappointing. He didn’t KO a ghost of ghost. Josesito Lopez almost got him out the paint. And all this was PRIME Thurman… Then he got beat by an old pac man who barely had any legs and visibly showing his age.

Thurman was billed as a KO artist first, then bar lowered to a boxer puncher and now what is he? He ain’t that good at either at the moment. He went from one time to run time. I don’t think he have enough grit or power nowadays to keep mean machine up off of him. He don’t have the chin or heart nowadays to win a firefight. And his boxing skills are overrated and he is decent and he can move but his handspeed is average and now he don’t even have the pop to bail him out. His power was his calling card and without what do we got left.

People still fall for the wolf tickets he selling because he obviously not that interested in boxing..he just coming to pick up a check.

Yeah I'm not taking shyt you said seriously, especially to believe Mean Machine would beat him when I don't even think mean machine beats Barrios. I thought Thurman looked fantastic. Garcia and Porter are old fighters now but when both fights happen they were both really good fighters. Come on now breh.

Mean Machine has a punchers chance. Dude hurt both Crawford and Vergil Ortiz. An old Thurman has enough mental lapses to get caught slipping.

Still think Thurman has enough to win that fight. However, it seems like Thurman is more focused on fighting for the title one more time, and I would be shocked if he decides to fight anyone who isn't Crawford, or the winner of Spence Ugas.

He's a bit washed, but he was undoubtedly the best between himself, Porter and Danny. He always presented the hardest challenge, and I would still like to see how Thurman fares against Crawford or Spence.
