Swagger vs Goldust actually hasn't had any build up. They did the arm breaking angle back in October and have spent the last nearly 4 months of having Goldust occasionally feud with Sammy Guevara and not even mention Swagger until this past show.

That post-match segment in Texas a couple weeks ago was simple, but effective and made me want to see it.

Obviously Cody vs MJF buildup has been great, best storyline of 2020 easy.

My question as well. Cody loses nothing in losing and building tension in either a turn by Arn or a threat to Brandy that costs him the match.

It's not as if there's a rush or reason to move into the title picture since he can't challenge for it regardless of the outcome.
