The TNT belt should be treated like the entertainment/character title. Christian was the last wrestler who made that title relevant.

Intl should be the workhorse title. The Continental is useless. Should just unify the two and keep it the Intl title. The C2 should remain but the winner should get a title shot. There’s no problem with 2 tourneys that give title shots.

That's Shota Umino. He was with Mox when Mox had some time over in NJPW few years back, think during a G1. Shota also was on Forbidden Door I think last year or year before. Mox calls him Shooter.

June 26, 2022: At the inaugural AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door event, Umino teamed with Eddie Kingston and Wheeler Yuta in a six-man tag match against Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara, and Minoru Suzuki. Umino's team was defeated in this encounter.

June 25, 2023: At the second AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door event, Umino participated in a ten-man tag team match. He joined forces with the Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli) and Konosuke Takeshyta to face The Elite ("Hangman" Adam Page, Matt Jackson, and Nick Jackson), Eddie Kingston, and Tomohiro Ishii. Umino's team was defeated in this match.

Even tho the heavyweight title picture looks bad, I feel like they have different angles to play off of & can go in various directions instead of one or the other. There is potential to improve things. I'll give my thoughts on a possible booking idea.

Mox vs Cope for the title
Christian has contract
Rico vs Swerve for title shot.

Collision, or next week dynamite better, or collision if there is one before the ppv. Think ppv is on Sunday so likely is one. After Yuta has already been taken out preferably on Collision this Saturday. Have Mox seek help from the patriarchy for protection. Then have Cope and White get the jump on the patriarchy and attack before they get to and have them steal the contract. End the show with Cope and White in the ring and Cope saying how Christian was a thorn on his side and he not gonna be a problem anymore cuz the contract getting destroyed, and have White rip up the contract.

Fast forward to the ppv. Decent match between Cope and Mox. Both men brutally beaten. In a last ditch effort, Cope pulls out a spear and gets the win. Him and White start celebrating when suddenly White attacks Cope. Whole crowd is shocked. White gets the mic and says you thought i ripped the contract but it was a fake and the real one is right here, ring the bell ref. White picks him up and hits a blade runner and ends the ppv as the new world champ.

Switchblade stealing the contract and turning on Cope is the right move.
Jay White being a sidekick for Copeland doesn't sit right with his character unless he's manipulating him since the beginning, basically using him to get rid of the Death Riders and Mox before reaping the benefits, genius move and fit his persona.

Has it been established that the contract can just be stolen and be a finders keepers situation?
