Don't we always complain about them being predictable? I like the fact that this came out of nowhere. We knew Batista hinted at wanting to face HHH at mania, but no one expected him to assault a geezer on his birthday.

I was cool on Becky not interrupting the bday party. That's how everyone expected it to go down. I like Batista being back and the twist was something nobody saw coming, I don't see a reason to complain about it

How is it poor writing? He told HHH he wanted to face him at mania and HHH ignored him, so he beat up his best friend to get his attention. The truth is that's one of the most used storylines in wrestling history. If they did write some compelling angle people would just bytch about Hunter putting the focus on himself. They literally just started the story and ya'll are already complaining.

better storyline wouldve been : they celebrate ric's birthday and then at the end dc dave makes fun of hhh for never beating him and then they agree to another match but na that makes too much sense

That already happened on Smackdown 1000 minus them agreeing to a match.

Next night on Raw he shows up and demands a title match with Finn for the IC belt...

Tuesday on Smackdown... he plows through newly crowned champ MAGA Evans and then R-Truth just looks at HHH and throws the belt at him and runs away saying he's seen the booker T match

Then nothing could stop him from acquiring his greatest prize
