I bet Heyman put up a fight when they told him to say that.yo forgive me coli fam i'm a lil behind y'all right now and i really wasn't even planning on posting in the TSC tonight but i had to come on and vent. so if i'm 10-15 min behind where the rest of y'all are at i apologize.
what paul heyman just said about roman reigns, how he is better than all those legends.... is absolutely fukking DISGUSTING. this company has no fukking respect for it's own history. to even SUGGEST that he is better than those guys is downright offensive. this is NOT how you hype roman reigns to be the next star. this is how you set him up for FAILURE.
you can still hype this match, and hype roman... WITHOUT that extra. be fukkin real with it. tell me he's the underdog going into mania and you're not sure he could come out on top. tell me he's one of the best young wrestlers in the world but that he's never had to challenge an opponent like this before. tell me he got potential but that he hasn't proven himself yet. i can BELIEVE that. i can BUY INTO that.
do NOT tell me he is better than hulk hogan who in all liklihood would have beaten this guy in 5 minutes flat. do not tell me he is the best wrestler you have ever seen when he hasn't even accomplished a SINGLE thing yet. that would be like kenny smith calling john wall the best point guard he has ever seen... and actually expecting us to believe it. it is asinine, it is insane, and it would completely destroy his legitimacy.
and yet here's the wwe, actually trying to convince the viewing audience at home... that perhaps roman reigns is the greatest wrestler to ever step foot into a wwe ring.
