I See alot of dumb talk online about wilder being overrated when in reality, Fury was always going to be a bad matchup for him, if they rematch I just dont see a different outcome. Fury clearly prepared for Wilder to make little no adjustments. Wilder is a still a great champion and a loss isnt the end of his career.
Exactly, like brehs stated this a make or break moment. Use this to motivate you to even greater heights or just fall back

This would also be a good time to say that the U.S vs U.K shyt that some say should be stopped, because this win for Fury isn't a win for U.K in my opinion, it's just a win for the individual better boxer on the day, it doesn't make U.K somehow inherently superior, even though all the belts are there currently at heavweight. It should just be about the fighters not nationalities, hopefully people dead that narrative now cause it's stupid and divisive, there's great fighters in U.S, U.K and all over the world, should just be judged on as individuals.
fukk outta here. Boxing has always been about race since Jack Johnson knocked out a CAC in the 1900s then whites would go and lynch random black people.

Don't come here with this bullshyt, go lecture whites. Smh

:troll:

But he better get with Freddie Roach or some shyt and learn how to box decently
I guess. I honestly cant remember the last time some white boy dominated a black heavy weight like this.

Wilder setting black boxers back 100 years.

Hopefully AJ will bring the title back to Africa for the home team.

That being said Fury fought well. Thank God I didn't bet on this one though!

After sleeping on it, I don't know if Wilder can recover from this. I mean, I guess no one knows until he gets back in the ring. But he would undoubtedly have to change his strategy up (which he should've done for this fight to begin with) and I don't know if he has the ability to do that, nor his trainers. His main problem in that first fight is that he thought he won it and he didn't need to change anything. I never liked this rhetoric from him or his team. And it's always seemed that Mark Breland may be the only one that is honest in his camp. Can't have a head trainer coddling you and telling you're doing everything right when you're not. Wilder always needed a trainer like an Emmanuel Steward to keep him honest about himself.

Not many fighters can do what Fury did last night and that's why I said he's a stylistically bad match-up for Wilder. You can find one of my earlier posts in this thread saying that AJ is the most dangerous match-up. And part of that was due to the fact that I believe AJ could make it more of a dog fight that Fury couldn't. Fury proved me wrong. That was a dominant performance. I don't know if he'll ever be that dominant in a fight again.

This is a very stupid post and embarrassing for you. You should know much better, Firstly you don't seem to know the difference between nationality and race. I'm saying people dissing people based of nationality/location in terms of being from U.K or U.S, they are both historically racist countries and have current racist regimes in charge too. Dissing other black people because they live in 1 or the other is highly ignorant and divisive. Comprehend properly next time, this was foolish and you should know better.

Everywhere...You never there.
This is another thing. Comparisons to Mike Tyson. They were stupid and insulting. Mike was a one in a lifetime talent. We will prolly never seen a 5'11" sub 220 lb man outjab nikkas with a height and size advantage for a while or throw combinations like he did or have his defense. Even before he went off the rails, mike legit ruled the heavyweight division for a good period and didnt come close to even being beaten before losing .

The Mike Tyson comparisons and ranking Wilder above Mike were so disrespectful

Did he turn up to host the after party still?

^ streets wanna know .

Gypsy King. Pure fukkery. :mjlol:

I thought he didn't train for this fight. Maybe he still didn't, but his skill and ability to put it all together is all-time best.

The Otto Wallin fight definitely put him in another gear.

And we have to be real with ourselves. Wilder has always been bailed out with the right. I hope cats finally wake up and see he really aint that good.

welp everyone was wrong
I don't think @The Ruler 09 even had Fury walking Wilder down and completely dominating him with power shots :merchant:
Fury won doing exactly what everyone said he'd be crazy to do
Can't even say Wilder got "exposed", people have been calling him a one trick pony since at least the first Ortiz fight. I feel like this was just a matter of time thing
His right hand was useless tonight, telegraphed it so many times and the couple times it landed it had no effect which is scary for Wilder going forward. If he loses power to that degree as he gets older or after he gets hurt in a fight he might have to retire cause he ain't going to beat anyone good without that mythical right hand

Hope they don't waste everyones time with a 3rd fight but from PBC/Wilder perspective they probably will want it as the next fight just to cash out on Wilder some more before he gets older. Fury is young enough he can cash grab with a 3rd wilder fight and still be prime for a Joshua match so it kind of makes sense for Fury to take it too
I'll be looking forward to The Ruler breaking down whether turning down $100 mil was a L for Wilder now that he has lost BADLY and presumably won't be able to get big checks going forward outside of a 3rd Fury fight. We gotta see what this PPV did I guess
