Wilder has made it far off of his right hand alone he started really developing a jab within the last year. He has gotten extremely far. His camp should of put more on him to develop his skills
Hindsight is 2020 Tyson Fury doing the MMA training makes sense now seeing how he was grappling Wilder. He has never experienced someone putting all that weight on him and I doubt that was even part of his teams plan to even counter that
Hopefully Wilder learns and come back how is his game plan going to be when coming back shyt, only his team knows.

he has shown he can go the distance despite Fury outboxing him in first match, if he does tweak things he can still take it there. I do think the backshot took him out, since then he was done.
