Man, I gotta say, Munguía has ducked the champs, but maybe it was for the best. Dude is looking much more polished now than he did at any time before. No question he needs to fight for a title next.
I get you but the last time he could have went for a WBO title shot was just before this fight. So instead of Ballard it could have been Andrade

The best thing to happen to him was HBO blocking the GGG fight. He's been feasting off robberies and 20th ranked opponents since:mjlol:

Well he’s solid but wouldn’t say huge. Started out of 154 just like Munguia. Munguia is 25 and can barely make 160, imo he will top out higher in weight than Boo Boo
Sure, but Andrade moves and throws like a 168, no where near a 160.

I really rate Munguia, although he has taken too much punishment so far. Has to have taken a small toll already. To me he is just starting to fit in at 160. By the end of the year he will be a true 160.

Idk, he looked like a skeleton at the weigh in even if it didn’t show in the ring yesterday during those less than 3 full rounds.

I know he’s not someone with a deep amateur background but still starting to look bad that he’s 39 fights in his pro career, he’s a former title holder and he’s fighting the level of opponents or even lesser level opponents than someone like Vergil Ortiz fights at 147. Time to step up

Watch this card on my downtime

Zepeda is still dangerous but he needs to be a little bit more defensively responsible

Ballard smh...the man was weight drained and he still was able to fight his fight...very disappointing..but yeah he needs to hurry up and take on a mando and stop taking bullshyt ass fights

He been at 160 for what, 1.5 Covid years?

Agree, opposition has been lacklustre, but this isn’t unusual in modern boxing at 160, let alone boxing in general. Munguia takes big shots, I’m sure they’re concerned a big 160 guy will drop him, justifiably.

Yeah he fukked up weigh in, but that doesn’t mean you’re a big 160. A big 160 is a GGG, Andrade etc.

I don’t expect them to get him good opps at 160 until the end of the year, if ever. Everyone is a protected species these days, rare people run the proper risk fade these days.
