It seems like the "bad camp" stuff is more so Morrell being dropped or something by a sparring partner?

I am not super excited and I haven’t watched a lot of Morrell but from what I have seen I favor Benavides. I think it will be a good fight just not intriguing.
Jist saw the weigh in...they both look ready.

Benavidez should win. Slightly faster hands. Slightly better defense. Morell is still more rough around the edges. Not sure I trust him to do what needs to be done. Which is back benavidez down and throw caution to the wind. Got a feeling he's gonna try be too cute and allow benavidez to win rounds off activity. If morell bullies the bully he can take benavidez out of his element and expose that chin. Either way they're both food for beterbiev/bivol. But looking forward to it.

IMO for Morell to win, he has to be the Boxer. I am not sure if he has the experience to be the come forward aggressive fighter, because he may be too greedy or too impatient in exchanges with Benevidez. Caleb Plant and Andrade had success against Benevidez out-boxing him, they just lacked the size/power to effect him. Morell does have those attributes. Just Box and throw power shots when the opportunity presents itself

Ive seen Morrel keep his right low quite a bit during exchanges that could pose for a problem
Benavidez looked like a mere mortal at 175 his last fight

They had success because they put their punches together. As every fighter does who fights benavidez. He has decent head movement but not great. That's why he gets caught frequently when guys throw combinations.
Morell gotta box but more importantly he gotta let the hands go. I really don't think he's skilled enough to outpoint benavidez over 12. He gotta push David back and force him into mistakes. If he allows benavidez to come forward it's gonna be tough for him. Both guys are skilled but very flawed. That's what makes it interesting.
