lol it must have really sucked for the Jazz in the 97 series. each game they lost by were within 4 points. but, they always choked the game away, even thought they always had the advantage against the Bulls bigs, and the Mainman was a straight up choker and was always shook as fukk during clutch time, and they couldn't do anything to stop MJ. I'm like Jordan was being guarded by Bryon Russel and JEff Hornaceck :gag: the best team they faced defensively was that 96 Sonics squad and that team defense was something else and made Jordan earn every shot he took and made the hard way:

Jordan struggled during that series, even though the Bulls won the series, it was easily his worst Finals performance

He had tendinitis in those playoffs (got injured in Game 2 against the Heat). He wasn't that sharp against the Knicks and Magic either.
Well, the next time he faced Payton, he did this...

He also dropped 40+ on Payton twice in 1998 :beli:

The three greatest defenders the GOAT face was Payton, Dumars, and Nick Anderson.

He still shytted on all of them (Nick Anderson, seriously?)
Dumars couldn't guard him 1-on-1. They resorted to doubling him after he dropped 61 and 59 on them in 1987 (aka, the Jordan Rules). That tactic worked until his teammates got better.

The jazz could've won one or both of those finals. The problem was that stockton's overrated ass could never step up an be the 2nd scoring option that Malone always needed. He didnt have to average 25 but get at least 18-20. He sucked offensively in both those series, I understand he was close to :flabbynsick: but come on

Opposing guards always had a tough time scoring against the Bulls backcourt (Harper/MJ/Pippen).
shyt, MJ held Reggie Miller scoreless in the 2nd half of Game 7 in 1998
