We were already done as a program by time we got to ACC. The school was still going off old gameplan while cfb was changing before our eyes.. They thought they could be cheap and were entitled to local talent to stay home.. They didnt invest in program from infrastructure, hiring coaches off failed staffs to be cheap, even the idea of joining the ACC was to be able to reap reward but not pour back in program..

They only got serious recently when Kirk put them on blast nationally .. And Mario literally got the backing of billionaires in his family (multiple ways).. He has warts but he recruits his a$$ off, fukked around and got a QB too.. He dont bring any schematic advantage but stocking the talent has worked to get you wins in cfb for a looooong time.
