who remembers when america online had those music message boards? they had seperate boards for each artist.

the bone thugs and wutang boards used to be active as f*ck. classic rivalry.

Being that this is '93 and on the internet, I am assuming that most of the posts weren't by black people or people close to the culture since the internet wasnt popular in urban america till the early 2000s.

I remember computers werent even common in houses in '97-'98...:wow:

Cool links tho.

yea, nobody but me and my main goon from the '90s had computers. thats how we clicked tight initially.:win:

yea. i got my computer in '94, and i think he already had his. i didnt get internet until a year later. what yall know about prodigy & compuserve?

I remember being a young boy and being introduced to the Nas board. I had a crush on this girl named 2sincere, but everybody used to clown her and call her a ho. This other girl named Tara admitted to posters making her cry. Some very mean spirited individuals indeed

Yep.

I didn't know what the internet was until '95.

My boys mom used to always have the phone line clogged up.I remember the first time I saw her plug her phone cord into the computer:wtf:....it was incomprehensible.

Around '98-'2000, the internet was a public/school library type of thing.nikka had to head down to the public library branch, take a number, and wait about 45 mins just to get that 1 hour of internet time.

And you could only use it once a day.

around '01-'02 is when the internet became just some regular ol common shyt

Yeah...I remember back in those days if you were on the internet, no phone calls came in. Being a kid we weren't allowed to get on during the daytime for the most part, which was bad...until I discovered porn...then night time internet was perfect, everyone is asleep :win:...damn, how time changes.
