Both were fire but zay's was more alive...drums hit harder (direct opposite beat)...I love that spaced out shyt but the drums just didn't hit hard enough. That being said...if somebody gets a hold of that 2nd beat and puts a bytch on the hook, they got a song.

I went with 1986 although i think both producers's beats couldve been mixed better.

I think 1986 track is mixed better and easier to consume immediately, but Zay's has a level of elegence to it. I think its the tempo choice. If it were faster... which I think most people would have sped it up (myself included) you couldn't hear how clean each note is.

Realistically its too slow for me to rap on, it seems like its intentionally slow as a showpiece. Or maybe thats just my take.

1986 took this one. Beat was just put together better.

Zay's had potential, but it was mixed too low, and the tempo was too slow. I couldn't really get a vibe going to it.
