Daboll and Schoen back for next year...

I hope these nikkas draft Hunter and sign a bridge QB for next year. The idea of having Hunter as a full-time CB and flex WR in the redzone would be crazy.
Wouldn’t shock me if they try to trade for a white QB (while keeping #3 to take Hunter), since they don’t seem to love either Sanders or Ward and might not be high enough to get them anyway.

Daboll and Schoen don’t have time to wait on a bridge QB at this point…do they? They’ll be going into year 4 of their 5yr contracts, but 2025 seems to be a do or die kind of year.

I feel like they have no choice if they miss out on Ward and Sanders. I know there was talk about the Vikings possibly trading McCarthy, but they'll probably cut Darnold loose. It sucks this isn't last year's draft where QB prospects were plentiful.

I feel like even if you get a guy in round 2 or 3, maybe one of Ewers, Milroe, or Dart. Neither of those 3 are going to make an immediate impact rookie year and a Daboll and Schoen on the hot seat can't risk that. Honestly this team is cooked either way.

My issue is what is the point of bringing them back if you draft a qb? They're going to be terrible again next year as well so are you allowing them another 2-3 years to develop the guy or are they out the door with a repeat of this season? I would say the latter. Seems pointless.

Also, now Schoen is gonna force a qb even if he doesn't love him imo. Which is always a dangerous position to be in.

This screams go 5-12 fire them during the season and delaying the rebuild lol.

Unless the QB is Jayden Daniel’s or 2023 CJ they are gonna suck again next year,

I feel like if Daboll sees something in either Ward/Sanders, Schoen will trade up this time around since he didn't listen to him about Daniels last year.

I personally suck at predicting NFL prospects but the general perception is neither one is as good though so we'll see

Mara basically gave them a playoff mandate so now you’re basically gonna have them desperate and overpay for a QB and overpay b tier free agents to desperately try to make the playoffs then next year a new coach and gm is gonna have to clean up the mess
