Are you guys watching this Schoen press conference? My guy is bombing hard. He got called out about fumbling the Russel Wilson visit.

I saw it. “We’re not far off” “middle of the pack” “the rest of the week will be about self evaluation and finding solutions” :smh:

He was mad nervous and was just spittin bullshyt

Schoen is officially a clown to me. He sat up there and said he didn’t regret the Jones contract. There’s a way to answer that without throwing him completely under the bus but to simply say “no” is bullshyt.

it's tough because if you tank super hard or if Daboll loses the locker room along the way, how do you bring him back next year?

you can't just fire Schoen because if you take his offseason o-line acquisitions, the hiring of the o-line coach, the Brian Burns trade and this year's Draft class - he's done his job well...outside of the goddamn QB debacle, of course.

and when it comes to Daboll, it's obvious the guy knows how to draw up an offense. the plays and everything EXCEPT the QB play is there. plus it seems like the team doesn't hate him...so that's good. maybe this is a good humbling experience for him going forward.

so Schoen isn't wrong when he says they're not far off. i've said that all year myself. most of their losses this year have been by 1 score.

One good draft out of 3 is Schoen doing his job well? Having to pay a pass rusher because he whiffed on the one he drafted is doing his job well? Putting together a middle of the pack offensive line is doing his job well? I disagree. Wholeheartedly. Schoen can go and if Daboll is collateral damage, so be it.

i mean, listen...you're not wrong...but Gettleman got 4 seasons.

i don't see Schoen being fired after this 3rd season, and i'd bet they will (FINALLY) get a chance to get their own QB.

You gotta fire Daboll, not because he’s a terrible coach, it’s just poor timing. Assuming the Giants get a top qb, the focus of next year shouldn’t be wins, it should be the development of the rookie qb.

Rookie QBs take time to develop, even generational ones like Caleb, in which said qb can cost the Giants some games like Caleb is doing to the Bears. I really don’t want Daboll to be in a “win now” situation w/ Cam/Shadeur, Daboll gets fired, now the Giants have to change the offense and potentially stunt the growth of their qb.
