Purple Haze is definitely peak Cam “Cam’n”. I have hella memories riding around to that album. I still put “Come Home With Me” in my top personal classics but I can see why someone would put “Purple Haze” above it.

I guess I get how people love SDE but the style is completely different for Come home with me. Like if this was battle rap SDE has better bars, but the performance of come home with me makes it a MUCH better listen for me.

I remember the hype when this dropped...good times

But this was not better than Purple Haze. PH was where he perfected this style and sound. It's a way better album.

My problem with this album is it's too inconsistent. The highlights are crazy but there is a few tracks that just aren't up to par. I feel like the Dipset sound was still not fully developed yet. You can hear it on some tracks but it feels undercooked compared to Diplomatic Immunity and PH.

The Kanye beat on here was a major disappointment. It was considered one of his worst beats up to that point. He was riding high off The Blueprint and joints like Guess Who's Back. People expected better.
