I posted it in the HL Random thread butOnly people who find single payer as a divisive phrase are those who are paid on how to think.
I've rarely met Democrats who have recoiled from the idea of single payer or healthcare reform in general towards a more social system.
Then people wonder why democratic turnout is so low. It's like they already have a set of goals and purposely try to subvert popular movements and sentiments.
People understandably ask why bother voting. You have no real impact.
In California, the number of signatures needed to qualify a measure for the ballot is based on the total number of votes cast for the office of governor. For initiated constitutional amendments, petitioners must collect signatures equal to eight (8) percent of the most recent gubernatorial vote. To place a statute or veto referendum on the ballot, signatures equal to five (5) percent of this vote are required. No way that happens, I’m just surprised it will be on the ballot
They better pray that Bernie doesn't run independent. Not need people but blame them when you lose bruhs.
what did he say? This racist cac Repub running for Senate in Virginia really went there with Cuomo mentioning his pops. If Chris put hands on him the next time he saw him in person, I wouldn't blame him
He tried to say that Cuomo's father had made anti semitic statements when he was Gov. and if Chris condemns him for saying them. Cuomo said his pops was 10x the man Stewart is.what did he say?
He wouldn't win. It would undermine his own aspirations. They better pray that Bernie doesn't run independent.
