Every article I read though said he was also a registered nurse too, which is even crazier.
Maybe the nursing licensing requirements are way less restricted there, but no way he would be able to apply for a license here with an endangering welfare of a minor and DUI in his background.

Pelosi is easily the most talented and experienced lawmaker in Congress IMO. She knows those four walls like no one else.
If the Democrats are going to really get heavy into the oversight functions of the House, there’s no one I’d rather have.
Her guard will be phased out shortly anyway. Best to let them onboard the new gen and teach them the ropes before heading out.

If Pelosi becomes speaker again, she has to agree to have a spokesperson that gives out responses and faces the public. She is absolutely horrible at communicating standing at a podium and is borderline incoherent at times. Other than that she is actually decent to good at the other behind the scenes stuff, so I'm okay with her staying for 2 years even if I wouldn't personally vote for her as speaker.

I have to disagree, here. The president knows she is effective, and thinks we will take the bait on childish reverse psychology. Listen, I was done with her and Schumer when they came for Auntie Maxine, so fukk her, straight up.........but, y’all know me in here, I don’t mix words, and I am forever changing my views through discussion and pouring over good information. After talking to my mom about it for about 2 hours, she really made me realize how effective as a maj leader Nancy is. I’m not saying someone else couldn’t get their caucus United to vote like her, but she did it with Ocare, and she can do it again. We both agreed, she will be the speaker come January, for sure, but she needs a 1 yr succession plan. Money/fundraising is not something that any progressive wants to talk about, I get it, money is the road to corruption, but it is needed, and NOBODY does it like Nancy. We need a succession plan, somebody needs to be groomed, and Nancy, at the end of the year in power, needs to hand the black book over. Sorry so long, but I think there is room for strategy, while having some experienced chess players groom some of these exciting up and comers that have age and energy on their side.
