This is why I'm frustrated with the bredensen campaign. I want him to win to spite the alternative and they need to do more. It's not about kicking down a democrat. It's about desperately wanting that Democrat to win and therefore them doing everything in their power to ensure victory.

Also if anyone geniunely runs in 2020 to dismantle this system where money rules politics, I may honestly be a single issue voter on that issue. The amount of outside money pouring in is ridiculous. The NRA is even running ads. Republicans are really scared of losing this seat.

Bredesen is so meh to me (esp. in light of the Kavanaugh nod.), but Blackburn is the worst, and just a hoe for special interest groups:

Marsha Blackburn fought to end net neutrality, but will it matter to voters?

Bredesen HAS to be meh in that sense if he even wants a chance of winning. Kirsten Gillibrand types are not going to flip these red states

With Bredesen "having" to be Meh is overstated. TN has terrible voter turnout, and trying to galvanize or broaden dem support can easily fizzle out with consistent Meh behavior. But this just highlights a bigger issue in general.

Gillibrand votes with Trump the least out of any Senator

And yeah I know it kinda goes both ways so you have to find a balance. But I do think that if Doug Jones was a hardcore socialist, Roy Moore would be sitting in that seat.

I’m as cynical as anybody, but I just can’t seem to get myself to put negative energy towards someone I want to win. Get the fukk out there are bash people in the fukking head with it!! If they lose, mourn then, but don’t be a fukking downer, you just feeding the gop machine that “dogs will heel”
