I remember back in summer 2006 right when I was was entering senior year of HS I was volunteering for a Somali friend of the fam running for House of Delegates. He didn’t make it out of the primary for a seat in Monthomery County. But I remember we were aligned with Cardin’s opponent in the primary, Kweisi Mfume, the former NAACP CEO.

Yeah I was reading this earlier. I have my concerns, but I see how it can make sense.
Concern: the prevailing narrative is that republicans will stay home because they don't like Trump. This study counters that, despite Trump's approval rating being on the fritz all year. This study makes it seem like the undoing of the Republican party at midterms won't be Trumps fault. In other words, depending on how you look at this, it could be a fluff piece to make Trump and his base feel better.
With that said, I can see how this news makes sense considering that all Republican outlets have been pumping the false idea that Trump has been doing a good job as President.
