I remembered an adult who lied about his age because he wanted to play hs basketball…like a spoof of ole boy’s story here. They showed his mugshot.

But now they hide their identities?? We know why :mjpls:

I remember that. That 30 yr old nxgga was balling and dunking on 15 and 16 year olds. Became a local star :bryan:

Why are their identities concieled? :patrice:

Their identities aren't "concealed", Yahoo is just a shytty news service. The Facebook link in the article has their identities as do most of the articles about the story.

This morning, Detectives with the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested 46-year-old Marta Elizeth Serrano-Alvarado and her daughter, 28-year-old Martha Jessenia Gutierrez-Serrano. Both reside in the 200 block of South Kinler Street in Boutte, LA. Serrano-Alvarado and Gutierrez-Serrano are both charged with one count each of LA RS 14:132 - Injuring Public Records.

On Monday, May 29, 2023, Detectives were notified by officials with the St. Charles Parish Public Schools of a possible adult attending Hahnville High School in Boutte, LA during the 2022-2023 school year. School Administration received a tip that a female student, who was on record as being 17 years old, was in fact an adult possibly in her mid 20’s. School Administration began an internal investigation and later notified the Sheriff’s Office of their findings.

Through investigation, Detectives learned Gutierrez-Serrano’s mother, Serrano-Alvarado had enrolled her in school using a fraudulent passport and birth certificate.

Detectives applied for and were granted arrest warrants for Marta Elizeth Serrano-Alvarado and Martha Jessenia Gutierrez-Serrano.

This investigation was conducted with the full cooperation of the St. Charles Parish Public School System.
