20K is not all going to the kid...if so he woulda had more than $6K in his bedroom. They always make this seem more than what it is cause it makes them look like they are really doing their job.

$6K for a higschool kid is impressive but Im not impressed by the "kingpin" label...they're trying to sella story.

:beli: You know about the dope game nikka? The growers was the suppliers. Lil nikka wouldn't be selling shyt without them. The article already said the area was flooded with reggie, till these nikkas came through with that loud. Now the kid was nothing but a worker himself, although it said he had people working for him, which I doubt. They were more than likely affiliated with him in that he was THEY connect, or the link to the connect (the growers) The police fukk all these reports up to make the shyt look bigger than it was.

:childplease:

Of course the growers are the suppliers...they're not kingpins tho.

You gonna argue that Nino Brown wasn't a kingpin, too?

From the story the plants were the multi million dollar investment.. he sells the o for 400, the growers getting about three of that. Did they bust them as well? No. Amendments ica goes after he little man and cruccifies him while the big whigs pick up and go move the operation to south carolina or some other untapped market

First of all b, Nino Brown is a fictitious character, he dosen't count. Second of all, that kid and Nino Brow's situation are completely different:wow: Third, he was selling ounces of weed, the nikka wasn't no kingpin. As far as the growers, we don't know how many other people they supplied, they probably wasn't kingpin status either tho.

The kingpin is the key cog in the operation. It does not mean you have a huge network. That's like saying a nikka ain't a leader or a boss because his team is only 3 strong.

That kid and Nino were quite similar. They both bought product from a connect/source, prepared that product for retail, then sold it.

The growers could've been making $10M a month selling across the continental US and that still wouldn't make them kingpins....just suppliers to various kingpins around the country.

What precludes this kid from being a kingpin isn't the fact that he didn't grow, or that is operation was small (well that does, but it's an exceptional exaggeration), it's the fact that in all likelihood, he wasn't controlling the schools. He just had the best product and sold it. If he had those schools operating like The Carter, then, yea he'd be called a kingpin, even at $20k a month.

I see your point. I think people have varying views on what a kingpin is. If you don't have any chance of being hit with a Kingpin charge (there is one, and this kid has no chance of receiving it) than you probably not a kingpin. Now, with that said, people have been hit with the kingpin charges that were not kingpinning it
