Exactly. Having playoffs is exciting but it's a retarded way of determining the best team. In most sports (soccer for example), the team with the best record wins the championship.

Going 16-0 (and this goes for most of the 16-0 teams) when 12-14 games are against non-playoff contenders is literally Who Cares-worthy.
