When talking about MVP it does. MVP is a regular season award and you can't do anything better as starting QB but go undefeated

I think I've gotta take the :mjpls: stance on this one. I agree with their point: 16-0 doesn't matter besides the fact it gaurantees you home field and the bye. But if whoever "Adam and the Bull" are actually said that all that matters is the playoff games, then that means 16-0 never mattered and we all know that wasn't the case when the Pats did it. We all remember how they would bring up that 72 Dolphins team every year when the last undefeated team finally lost. For anyone who wants to argue that the Pats doing it first and then losing to the G-Men changed the narrative: y'all already forgot the alleged Patriots revenge tour that was supposed to happen this year? Y'all forgot the hype about the Pats going undefeated this year? Trust, 16-0 would be important if the Pats, Broncos or Packers were doing it. For some reason it no longer is:jbhmm:

I don't remember people saying 16 ain't shyt when the pats were doing it. The Panthers haven't even been eliminated yet and y'all really think it'd nothing in a league filled with parity.

the patriots were setting all kinds of records. They had Randy moss. Majority of people thought they were something special. This panthers team is different. Cam has been killing it. But it's a different feel. Honestly, it's still a lotta doubters. Well they gotta play Seattle or they gotta play Arizona. It feels like the Atlanta Hawks. The Hawks had the best record all year won 60 plus games yet everyone knew the Cavs were going to the finals.

I wouldn't say it's like the Hawks, most people think Carolinas the best team in the NFC, but they haven't been as dominant as the 07 Pats.

i think they are the best team in the nfc. But if they lost to say the seahawks in the 2nd round, my shock level would be at a 1 or 2.

Those Pats played a shytty AFC East, this year's Panthers a shytty NFC South. And with a few nail biters in there. Luck also favored them all season. They could easily be a one out in the playoffs:manny:
16-0 really means fukk all :yeshrug:
