he had the attributes and right chemistry with his background/training..just the time and frame of few things that prevented him from being in the best crop..

Bruce lee was flawed and kept developing his expression/art..he was a small man..his art was meant for everybody (size etc)..I have never seen him compete in comps or in street battles, just read and hear from many sources..

The fact that he mastered many different styles and was able to combine them into new ones basically inventin MMA shows he wasn't flawed, him bein small didn't matter since like you said his fightin style was for everyone allowin him to take down larger opponents and you never heard about him takin any Ls much less losin to inferior fighters the way Tyson did.

The fact that he mastered many different styles and was able to combine them into new ones basically inventin MMA shows he wasn't flawed, him bein small didn't matter since like you said his fightin style was for everyone allowin him to take down larger opponents and you never heard about him takin any Ls much less losin to inferior fighters the way Tyson did.

My man he was flawed which had him studying all the time to perfect his art and grind..look at the time he was manhandled by gene bell..when i say flawed it does not say he was below or average..the man was a phenomenon no doubt. Oh and he did not master every style..he barely completed his wing chun studies..

He studied so much cause he was a perfectionist he didn't like usin the styles that were available since he thought they limited what a fighter could do, thats why he merged them into the hybrid Jeet Kune Do and Gene LeBell never "manhandled" him they sparred wit each other to learn each other's fightin styles.
