The Brock thing wouldn't be so bad of dude didn't just flat out disappear for damn near a quarter of a year at a time. I'm actually down with not having the title defended every single month, since all that does is either burn through contenders, or stick the viewer with long strings of rematches.
It seems like the goal was to sortve take it back to the old days when it was a big deal to see the champ, let alone have them defend the belt on any form of TV, but that shyt doesn't work today. The champ doesn't necessarily need to defend it all the time, but they need to be visible, and possibly tied up in non title defense things to make those defenses mean more.
