Botched? Cena chose to stop Johnny L and Vince from fukking with the match. That was just his Superman nature and he got caught slipping. Austin has been distracted a MILLION times and finds ways to win against all odds.
Really? We're going to put that fine a point on what constitutes "interference" in a match?
Vince coming to ringside was what made Cena leave his seemingly beaten opponent in the ring, waste a bunch of time, and come back to a GTS.
That's not a clean win. That's a win with (botched) interference, considering McMahon originally wanted to help Cena but ended up inadvertently costing him the belt. No, he didn't swing a chair and hit Cena in the head by mistake, but misdirection and distraction is STILL interference. .
Whether it was physical or not isn't relevant. The end result is the same -- a win that wasn't clean. But your logic, climbing onto the ring apron and distracting the referee isn't interference because it isn't physical.
And if you really want to believe otherwise...well...okay.
