No Halloween 1? Its the prototype for what we know as a slasher film. Also Candyman definitely belongs on the list, especially a top 15 list. They only added Nightmare on Elm St 2 because its been recently viewed as an allegory of a guy struggling with his sexuality. Otherwise, that movie was trash and has historically been voted as one of the worst in the franchise.

I've hated that interpretation, some mugs just weird.

Halloween came out in 78 they only ranked 80’s movies.

No mention of Halloween is bizarre, then that must mean these idiots have not even watched Black Christmas.

The Stepfather should be higher. It's in my top 5. Prom Night is Top 10 for me.

Nightmare II is a good slasher movie, but a horrible Freddy movie. It's basically a slasher script, with Freddy inserted, but it still wouldn't be that high. And Maniac Cop is better than The Prowler
