This is sad and depressing. I have two brothers, and loved ones. I worry about things like this happening to them.

Good he survived. Now he can speak up for himself. As opposed to most of these situations where the victim has no voice.

This also makes me question something that we ALL, no matter what color American you are, have questioned since, forever...
and that is, do cops really have to always 'shoot to kill' in every instance?
The general consensus has always been "yes, it's how they're trained",
yet, common sense tells us that by having the level marksmanship that they have, they should be able to aim for/and hit non-life threatening areas on suspects, in cases where suspects are fleeing and the officer's life is not on the line.
The general public has been questioning that for ages, and I think the fact that these officers managed to carefully place SEVEN rounds in the back of the legs and buttocks of a 14 year old child only serves to validate the questioning of the "only taught to shoot to kill" claim that gets made often.

That is terrible, but unfortunately it's not surprising.
And it's not just young Black boys. The KKKops don't see young Black children as children, period, male or female.
Very few things tore my heart up and enraged me than that video footage of the police (and random pedo looking white male bystanders) manhandling young pre-teen girls at pool parties
