Both honestly....they rely so damn heavily on political party lines that it's fukking embarrassing to actually watch these people do this shyt out in the open....

most of the time they dont read up on the bills they're voting for. they go with the majority and those who do want to be informed read up memo made by interns and "edited" by staffers. To be fair they dont have time but when it comes to National issues, Congress is getting worse and worse. The Presidents arent the problem.

Ever heard of the internet? you wouldn't have to vote. as of now, we have 200 million people who are supposed to take off from work, to drive somewhere to vote for representatives who say what they need to to get into office then don't do shyt once they get in. It's practically a sports game at this point.

Why is the amount of laws passed, a good or bad thing? We really need that many more laws in this country.

Laws are needed to create or undo policy, to help the country adapt with the times. Laws are needed to appropriate money to keep government agencies/department/programs running. Congress is failing at the fundamentals.
