When I played a few years back Our entire district was running some type of Wing/Veer/Option/SPREAD to run type offense. Legit had some games where nobody completed a pass lol. And even if they did have a more pass friendly offense most schools would pUT there best athlete at QB and give him the green light to try to be Vick in Madden 04 :russ::russ:
Sounds like most of GA below metro Atlanta for the longest.

They don't develop anyone. Guys come in looking like a HS player get redshirted and by the rs soph year still look like that same HS player, then they bring in a new guy who's hyped and supposed to beat him out and by then it's like "time to get up outta here and try somewhere else they got me out here looking like trash"
It's not even that they can't get their guys pro ready they can't even get them to look D1 ready

This is pretty much 90% of high schools in the country. Most Quarterbacks in the NFL suck. So lord only knows how shyt high school QBs are.

someone should do an analysis on their hs scouting rank, strengths, weaknesses and how they compared to other players in their class

I'd also like to know what their family income levels were. As we know, a lot of top qb's coming out of high school have some of the best QB trainers in the nation.

Unlike Texas where the best teams are spread pass happy offenses. Louisiana still has the best teams who run-oriented via veer or spread.

Yep it’s no coincidence the best QBs come from Texas. Word is Louisiana is goin more spread but idk what affect that will have on Louisiana athletes

The recruiting is not bad we stay getting 4* and 5* but the problem Is QB recruiting is a crapshoot go at some of the highly ranked QB from the past most of them turn out to be bums

My question is how is football in Louisiana so good but the QBs who come from there so bad :gucci::gucci:
Teams just put the best player at qb. I’ve seen games where it looks like Dline an and linebackers are back there taking snaps. I think the wide receivers are making qbs look better than they actually are.

thats amazing...spans a number of coaches. why?
Russell Sheppard completed his career at LSU just at a different position.Brennan is still there and right now is heir apparent. Perilloux is a member of the FML hall of fame that ain’t on us. I think Zach Lee got drafted by MLB. The rest of those guys are just a random bunch of players who weren’t going to make a difference in how our season played out anyway (except Brandon Harris).
