Alex's dad, the cop knew Alex killed Bryce. It's why he was burning Alex's clothes at the end and told Ani that the tire tracks were the same as his wife's car. He most likely covered up everything at the station

That makes sense but it still makes no sense how Ani supposedly knew where everyone went and did after the homecoming game. She didn't even know Monty how would she know that he followed the bus? Even if she did know him he wouldn't tell her that

Exactly so how is the cop just gonna believe her when she's obviously made it up? Maybe it's because he wanted to believe her to protect Alex or whatever but it was still trash the way they executed that ending
Bryce reminds me of a lot of cacs i went to high school with. Fratty. Entitled. Egotistical. Manipulative. Disrespectful to parents/authority. Living as if they had no parental supervision. Rapey (with Bryce being an actual rapist). No remorse/never apologizing for their behavior. Doing all kinds of hard drugs at 17-18 years old. I thought he was psycho but, in hindsight he's just an extreme narcissist. It would take years of psychotherapy to unravel that shytshow he had up there in his head. He did have the capacity for good (which makes it worse almost because HE CHOSE to be what he was), as we saw a few times, where someone that's really fukked up psychologically wouldn't be able to do so. Too little, too late in my opinion. His mother is going to always see the good inside of him because she raised him and life is full of nuances in that people can be both good and bad but, Bryce sealed his fate when he decided to rape multiple girls over and over. In real life if he wasn't rich and wasn't white, he would have been got football numbers. You don't get to rape ten chicks then talk about wanting to change

They all planned and had their stories straight breh....don't overthink it. They knew Monty died in lockup and couldn't defend himself and put the plan together. and obviously the cop would go along if it meant saving his son.
