Speaking of Dijak, I saw way more in him as a top heel than I do Ridge..

I don't think he would have been as effective on the main. but, I think he could have cooked as an NXT gatekeeper. I think Corbin also could have cooked in that type of role. The more NXT evolves, some guys that are good at a lot of the pieces, or fit the look are perfect to be litmus tests for the main. Like even Gallows and Anderson, they won't sniff shyt on the main, but they could kill on NXT. I think with the brand evolution there needs to be more oh we saw these guys on the main roster, letting them really solidify who has it for the next level.

The thing is those guys were already playing gatekeepers. They just didn’t do in the main event scene of NXT. I guess HBK didn’t want to use them in title matches if they are gatekeeping.
