For those who are interested, there are some MMA fights announced for this card:

Their super atomweight champion Kanna Asakura will take on former Invicta FC Atomweight Champion Ayaka Hamasaki. Kazuyuki Fujita will take on Erson Yamamoto (nephew of Kid Yamamoto).

Rizin's NYE cards are usually pretty fun. Good for some fun fights, good match-ups and general fukkery.

@aceboon @Jmare007 Rena and Kyoji Horiguchi are confirmed for this card, and a pro wrestler has been rumoured to make their debut on this card (supposedly Takeshi Morishima).

Fujita still fighing :ohhh: I just checked and he's 48 years old now and actually won his last three fights all this year.

He is still fighting, but I actually made a mistake there. Kazuyuki miyata is on this card, not fujita.

Rizin just released their mini subtitled doc 'Rizin Confessions' on the Floyd-Tenshin presser and negotiations. Looks like there's a mini profile on Floyd, most of it is focused on Tenshin. Haven't watched it, but it's usually a good watch.

The attraction will be based on the following rules and regulations:

- Three minutes per round for three rounds

- Straight boxing rules

- Both will wear either RIZIN 8 ounce gloves

- Weight: 147lbs/67.7kg

- No judges

- This will be full contact competition, but the bout is not going on boxing or MMA records

Wouldn't mind seeing Tenshin try to make the switch to boxing at some point, dude is young and gifted enough to do it in a few years. One of the Bleacher Report MMA guys mentioned a month back when the Floyd fight first got announced that it was something he was considering, Tenshin is probably more naturally gifted than Masuyuki Ito and he made a successful switch from K1 to boxing.

Yeah, I honestly think he should fight Takeru and then make the switch. There's just not that much money in kickboxing. Israel Adesanya was bytching about Glory's pay before he left for the UFC right? That China money doesn't last in kickboxing either, unless you're Thai. Boxing is getting big in Japan now. Naoya Inoue drew 5.5 mil on TV just in the greater Tokyo area, this is pretty much the perfect time to do it.

Yea he was saying it took months before Glory paid him in full for the Wilnis title fight. Japan pays their kickboxers and MMA fighters well but no way are any of them touching Inoue money.

An additional card has been added to 12/31. The rumour is that this is a morning show in Japan, meaning we'll be able to watch it on the night of December 30th. Supposedly, Takanori Gomi, Tetsuya Kawajiri and Gabi Garcia is on this card. Rizin has announced a presser for Monday afternoon in Japan, they'll probably announce the card for the morning show.
