I personally ain’t a fan of mid card titles at all

TNT title is one of the better looking titles but has one of the worst names of any championship

Should have came up with a better name that makes it as big a deal as the world title or close enough to it

If they couldn’t come up with anything just call it the world tv title and book it as the world title that gets defended every week on TV while the other world title mostly gets defended on PPV with the occasional TV defense only on big deal Dynamites like Winter Is Coming or the others that’s got a PPV feel

Back in the day the WCW world tv title seemed like a big deal.

Back in the day when world title shots weren’t as easily obtainable and the champion wasn’t around much, from a kayfabe perspective it made sense. You were the next guy on the totem pole if you held a midcard belt, like you could headline shows and everything plus you had more defenses than the world title so you’re making good money. But unless it’s got a gimmick attached to it, these days I think a midcard belt is basically useless. Why not just go for a World title? That’s where all the glory and money is, in legit combat sports there’s no other top title in a division, just the one. A TV title makes sense to me if you’re not gonna have the World title around often, so for them it works

Naming then the TNT and TBS Titles were ridiculous ideas to begin with. Better off with calling it the TV title.

hmmm that’s kinda true but also kinda. Kinda not true.

I know atleast for boxing, they have like 3 different belts in a weight class. Then there is a 4th belt/championship class called “The Ring” champ.


Then on top of all that is a “Super_____” champ, a regular champ, and a unified champ.

So like someone can be a Super Middleweight Champ and not even be the IBF or etc.

It’s crazy.

I like multiple championships though as a lot of times they equal divisions. Unless your roster only has like 30 people and maybe 16 of the 30 are tag teams. You can’t stay pat with only one singles title.

People are fake complaining today about certain talent not doing anything, we’ll what can you really do with one title/one major champ and a bunch of other guys in line?

AEW should legit go ahead with the trios title and introduce another singles title (whether they officially make that legit/canon or create a new one)

That woman's match was a good brawl. With Mercedes coming in too with Jade I'm thinking they're building towards a woman's tag division for this summer.
